Unlike the Sandbag weights, used in commercial products, we have 3 different weight materials options for our customers to choose from.
When making your order, for weights, you can choose:
1. Glass and acrylic Bead designs to add the weight in a decorative and attractive pattern.
2. Internal Flat Stones which add the weight to the blanket.
3. Plastic poly pellets. Plastic poly pellets are made from 100% polypropylene and are considered to be a completely safe level 5 plastic.
l, the owner of Wonders By Women, and the creator of the weighted blankets, had a Masters in Social Work and specializes in mental health. She has more than 5 years of professional work experience, working with Adults and Children with Autism and Sensory Processing Disorders. She also has a child with autism and sensory needs.
